Miansai is about exploring the unknown and discovering the beauty of elegant design. Each piece is bound with an intrinsic sense of curiosity. To capture the essence of the brand, we decided to delve into the surreal.
In a playful "role exchange", the model acts as the accessory instead of the pieces accessorizing the model. The result is that each piece becomes the protagonist of its own play, taking the viewer by surprise. For the second shoot the set or “stage” is created from the model's own body, upon which each piece is delicately poised; an unexpected twist on the traditional still life.
